Another great year for the SDS Charity Pub Quiz

The annual and well attended SDS Charity Pub Quiz returned for its third year, with this year’s event raising money for The Royal Marines Charity.

Twenty two teams filled The Brass Monkey Pub in Plymouth for 9 rounds of entertaining and puzzling questions, including on the spot games and a raffle which included such prizes as four golf and leisure passes for St Mellion, numerous bottles of champagne, vouchers for local restaurants and electronic items all kindly donated by our attendees.

The top and bottom of the final standings were incredibly close with Lacey Hickie Caley taking the title, trophy and top prizes, with runners up as Ward Williams and Interserve. At the other end, Morgan Sindall were presented with the ‘Best Supporting Team’ award, still a hotly contested position!

Our final total raised on the night was £2,723.19 – many thanks to everyone who attended and supported the evening, especially with your kind donations. See you next year!
