Careers Support For Schools

The Nightingale Hospital in Exeter was built in just 57 days, to accommodate patients with COVID-19 during the global pandemic and is now being used as a diagnostic centre and support facility for the Royal Devon and Exeter NHS Foundation Trust.

We were delighted to support Building Greater Exeter, who have created a short film for schools to help them promote careers in construction, showcasing the variety of roles in the Nightingale Hospital’s construction. The film features construction professionals from three of the key companies involved in the design and build BAM Construct UK, Services Design Solution (SDS) and TClarke.

The video has been sent to the Career Leads at all the secondary schools in Teignbridge, Exeter and East Devon and the feedback has been really positive with many planning to use it in their tutor groups.
