SDS are delighted to be supporting Frazer Nash on the United Kingdom Atomic Energy Authority’s (UKAEA’s) Engineering Design Services Framework.

Our position on the specialised framework, resonates well with our combined capabilities & expertise. The Engineering Design Services Framework has been set up to help UKAEA access a broad range of specialist engineering and technical skills across multiple areas, which will support it in its goal to develop fusion as a new source of clean energy for future power stations.

The framework is vital in the mission to develop commercial fusion power, while also helping to grow the UK economy by ensuring industry are fully involved.

Paula Barham, UKAEA Head of Procurement, said: “This framework brings exciting opportunities for UKAEA; to work collaboratively with the Supply Chain and maximise the potential value within those relationships. This is vital to UKAEA succeeding and positioning the UK as a leader in sustainable nuclear energy.”
