RICS Awards Win for Oceansgate

Another award win for SDS at South West RICS Awards 2019 on Wednesday 22nd May.

A thoroughly enjoyable evening celebrating flagship projects across the South West at the RICS Awards last night held at the Bristol City Centre Marriott. Gemma Taylor from the Bristol office was invited along by Midas Group with Plymouth City Council for our involvement in the Oceansgate Scheme which was shortlisted for the ‘Regeneration Category’. We were delighted when announced as winners in this category.

The award reflects the impact made by a truly phenomenal scheme and is testament to the hard work invested by all of the project team to make this happen. We also raised a glass to the late Gareth Simmons for his instrumental part of the project team who sadly died earlier this year. Now it’s up to London in October for the Nationals….

Congratulations to Steven Griffiths (Electrical Engineer) and Tom Lawson (Associate Mechanical Engineer) for the hard work carried out on this project in Plymouth.
