Derriford District General Hospital provides a full range of general hospital services to around 450,000 people in Plymouth, North and East Cornwall and South and West Devon, including
emergency and trauma services, maternity services, pediatrics and a full range of diagnostic, medical and surgical sub-specialties.

£1.78m project for Plymouth Hospitals NHS Trust.

Commenced January 2014, finish date September 2014.

Replacement of an existing absorption chiller with 11 kV 1560 kWe gas combined heating and power (CHP) unit.

The works comprised the complete design, supply, installation and commissioning of a new 11 kV 1560 kWe gas fired combined heat and power plant suitable for a marine environment along with all associated mechanical and electrical works and heat dump facility.
