The scheme of 73 apartments is laid out in three distinct blocks, each with a lift and secure access. Each level and wing of each block are secured allowing access only to the residents who live on each of the hallways
There is a door entry system operated from each apartment and in addition closed circuit television is installed for additional peace of mind. Each apartment has one allocated parking space,
and in addition there are adequate visitors’ parking spaces, all hidden away in the underground car park. In addition there is the provision of secure covered cycle storage for every resident
The apartments meet with the EcoHomes classification of ‘very good’
State-of-the-art exhaust air heat pumps providing ventilation and both space heating and hot water generation
Savings in energy in the region of 20% compared with more conventional means of space heating and hot water generation
Ventilation, heating and hot water incorporated into a single item of plant improving and simplifying maintenance strategies
Provision of temporary supplies were incorporated into the design to maintain water, heating and power supplies.
