It utilises a derelict site with the objective to rehabilitate military veterans through a self-build retraining programme in construction skills. The scheme is a partnership between Devon
and Cornwall Housing (DCH), the Community Self Build Agency (CSBA) and Plymouth City Council, and was overseen by main contractor Interserve
1150m2 size building with 24 high quality homes, 12 dedicated to servicemen and women, six to people with learning difficulties and six as general need affordable accommodation
