University of Plymouth – Peninsula Dental School

Project Description

A creation of a three-storey 1,950m², 43 chair dental school with surgery, dental x-ray, plaster room, laboratory and teaching space for medical school students including seminar and student changing facilities

The project was procured by the University of Plymouth with Primary Care Services delivered by the Peninsula College of Medicine and Dentistry.

£4.6m centre of excellence, serving members of the local community requiring dental treatment, and providing training facilities for dentistry students

Project Involvement

Main contractor technical advisors on behalf of Kier Construction

Assist in M&E tender adjudication and normalization to ensure like for like compliant bids

Recommendation the best value proposal in the selection of the M&E specialist installer

Peer review of specialist contractors construction issue information

Monitoring progress and quality of completed M&E installations

Provide assistance in reviewing M&E programme of works against commissioning
