A residential development designed for the over 55s to facilitate exemplary new homes, fit for the ageing population at Ty Darran.
The development is to be fully accessible with technological infrastructure in place, adhering to the Welsh Development Quality Requirements in 2021.
During the development phase, the existing health centre, GP surgery and pharmacy are not be to be disrupted.
The project replaces existing facilities which are deemed not fit for purpose and considers the potential for sustainable energy solutions.
Involvement
- Provided Part O assessments and SAP assessment.
- Generated a low carbon zero report.
- Full and detailed design of the complete mechanical and electrical building engineering services from Stage 0 – 4a.Client engagement through client group meetings carried out to identify standards of finish and desired outcomes.
- Detailed coordination of services through reinforced concrete structure. SBEM calculations and EPC A certification to prove Part L Building Regulations compliance.
- Engagement with local council for approval of planning submissions
