Electrical infrastructure upgrade at Par Rail Depot, delivering a resilient and compliant power distribution system to modern GWR standards.
SDS were appointed by Sisk to design, detail, and specify the main intake arrangement, sub-distribution, and below-ground external service routes to cater for the modular building and wider site. The design included incoming utility supply arrangements, provision of a manual changeover switch for temporary generator connection, and several external GRP enclosures to accommodate GWR electrical distribution equipment.

- Completed detailed cable calculations and technical reports to validate system capacity and performance.
- Sized and specified electrical distribution equipment and GRP enclosures, allowing for future expansion.
- Developed earthing arrangements and protective device specifications to ensure a safe and compliant design.
- Coordinated and detailed external service routes, considering site topography and existing underground services.
- Produced detailed design drawings and schematics in accordance with GRIP Stage 5 requirements.
